The Cathedral is a work of art by Marinus Boezem in the Crown Estate Het Loo in the municipality of Apeldoorn. It consists of forty tree trunks in bronze on concrete foundations, placed in accordance with the floor plan of Reims Cathedral. Queen Beatrix with family and acquaintances donated this work of art on the occasion of her 60th birthday to the Crown Domain to underline the Orange family's attachment to this area. It was unveiled on September 18, 1999. Now, 25 years later we go to see this special work of art. We walk towards it and back again through the beautiful forests of the Kroondomein.
