Take a full moon walk across the Veluwe near Hoog Buurlo with a guide from the Forestry Commission. At the end of the day, as the sun sets, you leave, heading for the rise of the full moon. A quiet, partly silent, walk along the sheepfold. You walk past woods and moors. Afraid of getting lost you need not be, as the moon illuminates the path.
Practical information:
- Parking place sheepfold Hoog Buurlo, intersection Hoog Buurloseweg-Alverschotenseweg (see map)
- Walk of about 5 kilometers
- Bring something to sit on
- Put on dark, non-zip clothing and do not put on perfume or after shave
- Not suitable for people with walking difficulties due to walking in the dark on unpaved forest paths
- Dogs not allowed
- Toilet visits are not possible en route
