Enjoy the full moon on the vast Veluwe near Radio Kootwijk. After being welcomed with coffee or tea, pause to watch the setting sun and say goodbye to the day. Then the guide from Staatsbosbeheer will take you out for a walk along moors and sand drifts. From a quiet spot, you wait for the moon to rise. The bright light of the full moon gives the forests and plains a mysterious atmosphere. Even on cloudy days you can see its influence. Afterwards you walk back together over the now dark Veluwe. A peaceful, partly silent walk through the heart of the Veluwe.
Practical information:
- Price: excluding exit ticket parking (a, 7,50 per car), including coffee/ tea
- Meet at the parking ticket machine at the parking lot at Radio Kootwijk
- Distance walk: 5 km
- Put on dark, non-zip clothes and sturdy walking shoes, do not put on perfume
- Bring something to sit on
- Not suitable for people with physical disabilities due to unpaved paths
- Dogs are not allowed
