Icelandic horses on Veluwezoom
Our guide takes you through this beautiful area in search of the Icelandic horses. Why are these animals running free in the woods? How many horses does the herd consist of? And did you know that an Icelandic horse has 5 gaits?
We really have to look for the horses, because of course we don't know where they are. It could be that they are near the sheepfold, but maybe they are walking on the heath or somewhere in the Beekhuizen woods. So it could be quite a walk!
If we go up the Heuven mountain we might see them running across the Herikhuizerveld.

- buy a ticket in advance
- this excursion is for adults and children over 13 years old
- wear good walking shoes
- dogs are not allowed
- check yourself for ticks after this walk
