What did the former residents experience in the castle?
On the last* Sunday of the month, the former residents of Doorwerth Castle seem to have come back to life. Charlotte Sophie Bentinck, for example, or one of her chambermaids. The kitchen maids from the time of Baron van Brakell, or the Baron himself. And who knows, you might meet the very first owner Berend van Doorenweerd or you might look over the shoulders of painter Théophile de Bock.
