ROZENDAAL - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing an evening walk for children in the park near Rosendael Castle on Wednesday 18 and Wednesday 25 October 2023. After sunset the park around Rosendael Castle is closed, but for this excursion we will make an exception. During the autumn vacations you can experience what it is like to walk around the castle in the dark. In the park you will notice that at night you hear and perhaps smell things that you would not notice during the day. If your eyes are a little less sharp, you will utilize your other senses all the more. Listen to the gentle murmur of waterfalls, smell the scents in the park, feel the ground, the trees, and maybe even the water. We will stay in the park and not enter the castle. It's beautiful enough outside after dark!
The walk is for children ages 6 to 12, along with their (grand)parents or other adult supervisors. Maximum one adult per child. Advance online reservations are required.
- Time: starts at 7 p.m. Duration: approx. 1.5 hours.
- Participation: 5.00 euro p.p., children 4-12 years 2.50 euro p.p., donors free on presentation of a valid GLK donor's pass.
- Tip from the forester: it may be handy to bring a small flashlight, but it is not necessary.
