They are taking place again this year! The Elburg Fortress Days. On several Wednesdays in the summer months, young and old can enjoy themselves within the city walls of Elburg. Including a cozy fair, children's activities, botter trips and live music. Along the harbor, the traditional children's rug market can be found again.
During the Vestingdagen there is something for every age! How about the traditional cozy fair. The stalls are within the city walls so you will run into a great offer every few meters. The braderie is set up from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The many stores in the fortress are also open until 6 p.m. You can also take it slower and enjoy one of Elburg's many terraces. Enjoy a nice cold drink and of course people watching. You can sail on an old-fashioned Elburg Botter. For art and culture lovers, there is always plenty to see in Elburg. The centuries-old facades and idyllic spots are a feast for the eyes. Or visit one of the many museums in Elburg: Museum Elburg, Museum Sjoel Elburg, the National Organ Museum, Botterwerf De Hellege, Museumsmithij De Hoefhamer, Verhalenmuseum Bijbelverhalen in zand, Visafslag Elburg or visit the Vischpoort and Kazematten. Each museum is an experience in itself!
Parking is free in the parking lots De Oude Vos and Het Schootsveld, about 3-5 min. walking distance from the center.
