A visit to The Hidden Village makes an impression. The Hidden Village is freely accessible. Taking a guided tour is definitely recommended. Expert guides will tell you about life in the hiding camp. It is hard to imagine that for so long so many people lived in the woods without any comfort, without any perspective, without contact with the outside world, at the mercy of the goodwill of the locals and the resistance.
A tour consists of 3 parts and lasts about an hour and a half:
-a visit with explanations to the hides on the Pas Opweg
-a story at the memorial stones at the Tongerenseweg
-A visit to the exposition in Hotel Restaurant De Vossenberg on the Elspeterbosweg 1 in Vierhouten.
