On July 12, a brand new element will take place during this year's Cantharel International Four Days Marches. On Wednesday, July 12, 2023, the KidsWalk will be organized for the first time: a fun and especially sporty walk for children between four and twelve years old, accompanied by parents, grandparents or other supervisors.
The route is a distance of 6 kilometers and starts between 11:00 and 13:00. During the walk, the young walkers will discover the nature-rich surroundings of Apeldoorn's Orderbos and Stadspark Berg en Bos. Participants can also play an active nature game. Need a moment of rest after all those miles? At the playground in Berg en Bos City Park there is opportunity to play, rest or eat something.
Participants can easily follow the route themselves using our route map and QR code. They can also join a helpful KidsWalk walking guide and walk with a friend. The guided walks start at 11:30, 12:00 and 12:30 at the entrance to the administration tent. The cost to participate is only â'¬3.00 per child, which includes a beautiful medal: a memory for eternity! Guides can participate for free.
The starting point of the KidsWalk is Sportcomplex v.v. Victoria Boys, at Berghuizerweg 153, 7312 SN Apeldoorn. We advise participants to come by bicycle as much as possible, as there is a bicycle parking lot right at the start. Note: All children must be accompanied by their own parents, grandparents or other supervisors. Unaccompanied children cannot participate in the walk, as participants walk along at their own responsibility and risk.
