The Summer Market has been around for 24 years and traditionally takes place on the last Tuesday of July. So this year on July 25 from 2:00 to 9:00 pm. There is also a large rug market around the church in Uddel. This year there are as many as 115 filled-in sales spots as stalls and sales wagons at the market and the market is bigger than ever! There are many local entrepreneurs on hand, as well as many market vendors with great products.
There really is something for everyone; from food items to books and clothing to phone cases. But also fun packing materials, baby gear and homemade items. There will also be demonstrations of various old crafts, such as clog makers, rope makers and a real basket maker. The Uddel fire department will be present with games for the kids, and there will be bouncy castles.
Ample parking is available! Parking is available at Blanke Schot village hall and on Markveldweg. Follow the parking signs. The Market takes place in the center of the village; on the Harderwijkerweg and on the van Waalswijkweg.
