In the vicinity of Garderen is an attraction that has been declared as #1 outing in the Netherlands in 2016! Namely, the Apenheul. Visiting the Apenheul from Garderen is very easy. The Apenheul is nicely located and thus easily accessible from Garderen. You drive here through a beautiful rolling landscape. On the way you can visit, among other things, the Crown Estates of the Loo and then visit the funny and special monkeys in the Apenheul. At the Apenheul, some of the monkeys walk around by themselves, allowing you to eat right out of your hand! Very fun to experience once, and the kids will love it.
