The Veluwe is a beautiful area. How nice it is to enjoy the beautiful surroundings on horseback! Upon arrival at the riding school you will meet your faithful four-legged friend of the day. If necessary we will start to teach you/you the necessary skills in the arena at the stables. Our guide will teach you everything you need to know. Once you are confident and so is the handler, it is time to go outside!
Time to explore and enjoy the Veluwe. Don't worry, he/she knows all the beautiful spots in the area! The horses are used to it and the guide makes sure that animal and human feel at ease.
The outside ride on horseback at the riding school in Nunspeet is just right for inexperienced riders. We assume that you have little or no riding experience. The guide will adapt to your pace and teach you the tricks of the trade. You book this activity at the Veluwe Specialist always for 2 hours, so you have enough time to explore the Veluwe.

Precisely not, our outdoor horseback ride is for beginners who have little or no horseback riding experience.
Is riding gear required?
No, but wearing a safety cap is mandatory. If you do not have a cap, you can borrow one from the center. Furthermore, you must wear appropriate footwear such as riding boots, sturdy shoes with a low heel or a sturdy walking shoe. It is also useful to wear sports pants or leggings.
From what age can you join an outdoor horseback ride?
Children as young as about 5 or 6 years old can join the outdoor ride.
