Garderen Climbing reservation
In the middle of the Veluwe forests you will find Klimbos Garderen. Klimbos Garderen uses a unique fuse system where everyone is continuously secured. This makes it the safest climbing forest in the Netherlands. You'll also find the highest climbing course in the Netherlands at 25 meters. There are also special courses for toddlers, your climbing goat can climb from 4 years!
Accessibility
In Klimbos Garderen you will find very diverse courses, easy, difficult, high and low. There is a suitable course for everyone. You have 2.5 hours to climb the courses you want. Most courses can be climbed from 1.20 meters, but especially for the little adventurers among us, who have not yet reached this height, there is the Mini ticket. Two tough courses await these little monkeys! Of course, before you start climbing you will get a comprehensive instruction from our instructors. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. An adult (13 years or older) may accompany a maximum of three children. If there are persons who will not be climbing, but would like to watch, they are welcome free of charge.
Courses
The park consists of ten different courses, each with its own theme. Klimbos Garderen offers a fun and sporty day out for different ages and levels. The courses are located at different heights, namely 2, 5 , 7, 10, 12, 18 and 25 meters high. So you can start quietly to eventually reach the top. The level of difficulty varies for each course. Klimbos Garderen is also very suitable for inexperienced and less sporty climbers.
Clothing
It is advisable to wear comfortable clothing and good footwear, slippers are not allowed. Long hair should be put up.
Combine a complete day out on the Veluwe with the Klimbos Garderen. Step off the Veluwe Specialist on the E-chopper or E-walking bike and pass the climbing forest halfway along the route.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long can I climb?
A block takes 2.5 hours including instruction. The instruction including putting on materials takes about half an hour. So you have at least 2 hours to climb.
As adults, should I come along as an escort for the children?
Because we have a safety system where you are continuously secured, you are not obliged to climb with your kids (provided they are older than 12 years!). Of course we advise you to climb with them, just because it is fun for everyone!
