EPE - The rangers of Geldersch Landschap & Kasteelen are organizing a walk on the Tongerense Heide on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Discover how nature is changing there. Under the influence of nitrogen, climate change, drought and intensive agriculture, this special area is under pressure. Why are conifers suddenly dying off and oaks struggling? During this hike you will hear the stories behind these changes and see with your own eyes what is happening in the forest. An instructive tour that will permanently change your view of nature. Discover the fragility and resilience of this unique landscape. Advance booking is required.
